We enjoyed a "staycation" night at the StaveView hotel. We enjoyed being in a quiet part of Raleigh, relaxing at the pool, and having breakfast and dinner without having to leave the property. There are plenty of places to relax and read a book. The staff were nice.

We ate at the restaurant the night we arrived and were very pleased with the food and service. The bartender was our server and she was amazing to watch! The hotel inside and out was beautiful.

Wonderful location, cozy lobby, nice restaurant (pricey but quality food), there is a nice hiking/mountain bike trail on campus with beautiful views of the lake. And in the evening, the place does not look deserted: there are residents hanging out, it was great.
